Allergens and Liabilities

Camryn's Bake Shop does our very best to prevent cross-contamination between our nut-free and nut-containing products. However, note that all items are prepared in the same kitchen with the same equipment, which processes common allergens, including, but not limited to, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, fruits, soy, fish, and shellfish. Camryn's Bake Shop cannot prevent cross-contamination in the preparation area. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to notify all consumers of allergen risks.

Pick Up and Delivery

Camryn’s Bake Shop is not responsible for any damage to any product after pick up or after delivery and set up at which point the customer assumes full responsibility for the condition of the items. Camryn’s Bake Shop is not responsible for any damages to the item(s) caused by a guest, caterer, event staff, or any other person not affiliated with Camryn’s Bake Shop.

 

Pick-up will occur on a day and time previously agreed upon by both Camryn’s Bake Shop and the customer. The pickup time will be confirmed via email or instant message 24 to 48 hours before midday on the pick up/delivery date. Pickup is always held in the Chunky's Movie Theater parking lot (150 Bridge St, Pelham, NH 03076). I always aim to park in the far left side of the parking lot, please look for a gold/tan Honda Accord. Please plan accordingly and have a spot prepared in the car for the item. 

(Note: in the hotter months it is important to keep these items away from body heat and to turn AC up.)

 

Delivery is available for $5 within 10 mi. of Pelham, NH, and is available with an additional fee of $3 per mile outside that range. The maximum delivery range is 25 miles outside of Pelham, NH, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate anything farther. The total amount of the fee is based upon the distance from the venue or residence and the legal address of Camryn’s Bake Shop located in Pelham, NH. The delivery fee will be no less than $5.00 but will not exceed $50.00 in total. Camryn’s Bake Shop will work with the customer and venue, as necessary, to coordinate a fair and agreed upon delivery time window.

 

Set up may include the basics of arranging our products on a stand or other decor furnished by the customer. It is up to the discretion of Camryn’s Bake Shop to determine that a stand or table/surface is unfit to bear the weight of an item. 

In such a case, the delivery staff person will place the item on a suitable surface as determined by the delivery staff person at which point the responsibility of displaying the item will be the responsibility of the customer. 

 

The items should never be displayed in direct sunlight or where sunlight may eventually move to. Humidity and heat will adversely affect the items. In the warmer months (average outdoor temperature of 72°F or greater) it is encouraged to keep the items in a refrigerator, air conditioned room, or a cooler area. Due to the effects of outdoor weather conditions, table on uneven ground, wind blowing, undesirable atmospheric items (such as, but not limited to, dirt, leaves, branches, etc.), sunlight, insects, or items caused by these outdoor weather conditions or heat including, but not limited to, “sweating” (water condensation), running of colors, melting buttercream, sliding decorations, etc.

Booking and Payment of Custom Orders

Custom orders include occasions such as birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, baby showers, bridal showers, "just because", etc. 

 

A Custom order is not considered booked until either a 50% deposit has been submitted OR (if it's a small order) you will receive a written confirmation that a deposit is not necessary and that your order is confirmed. If a deposit is necessary, it is required to be submitted no later than 7 days prior to the event date. All orders must be confirmed no later than 2 weeks prior to the event date. This means if an order form must be submitted at least 2 1/2 weeks prior, to leave time for a response and to discuss the order before confirming!​

Receipt are available by request only and must be requested at least 7 days before the scheduled delivery or pickup date; Full payment is required no later than 3 days prior to delivery or pick-up in order to allow enough time to prepare and provide a complete receipt. Payment made after the 3-day deadline will not guarantee that a receipt will be ready at the time of delivery or pick-up.

Photographs and Social Media

Camryn’s Bake Shop reserves the right to take and use their own photographs of your items to use for marketing and promotional purposes without compensating the customer. Photographs of the finished and decorated items will not be posted to social media prior to the event date.

Force Majeure

Camryn’s Bake Shop promises a product of high quality and service, but is not liable for unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to, inclement weather, transportation problems, illness, accidents, labor disputes or strikes, Acts of God, and other causes beyond reasonable control. A delay in transit shall not constitute grounds for a credit, discount, or refund.
